When school let out for summer, Zach left for Lake Brownwood with most of the other administrators on a fishing trip. Kagen and I stuck around for a couple of days so we wouldn't miss his cousin Payten's 1st Birthday party. The first night, we stayed home alone. Then Kagen's Uncle Zane and Aunt Cammy came to pick him up and took him to Lubbock to watch Lockney's baseball team win another playoff game. We met up in Hale Center at Zach's mom's house where we all spent the night and helped prepare for the party the next day.
