Easter

Every year since Zach and I started seeing each other, we have spent the Saturday of Easter weekend with my family and Easter Sunday with his family. This year, we just stayed in Stamford and spent the whole weekend with my family. It was the first time I had been at my church for Easter Sunday in a long time. It was nice, but we did miss hunting eggs with his other little cousins. I guess next year, we'll have to spend the weekend up there. We'll see!

Matt, Cheryl, and Alex came down for the weekend, so we spent all day Friday with them. Saturday morning was spent with my mom's family and the yearly family reunion. Kagen was a a pro at the egg hunt. He came home with 2 baskets full of eggs and candy. Then we went to eat in Abilene with my dad's parents. That night, we stayed up late dying a few Easter eggs with my mom.

Sunday, we went to the Easter services at church, then back to my parent's for lunch, followed by an Easter egg hunt in their backyard. It was Alex's first egg hunt. Kagen kept checking on Alex's basket and brought him some eggs he found to help him out. It was so cute. We tried getting a picture of the two of them in the yard, but Alex can't quite hold himself up, so we did the best we could with Kagen holding him.
