Daycare Christmas Party

Kagen's daycare Christmas party was this afternoon. We got out of school today at noon, so Zach and I were able to attend. The preschool kids sang a few Christmas carols, then Santa came to hand out presents to each individual child. After that, it was on to cookies and punch! They drew names a couple of weeks ago and went ahead and exchanged presents earlier in the day. He and another little girl in his class drew each others names. She got him a little race car that makes noises! He got a candy cane and a cold pack from Santa. His teachers made an ornament with his picture on it. Now he is home for us for 2 weeks. We'll see if we all survive. He is going to spend the night with his Grammie Saturday night and then we are both staying with her Sunday night while Daddy goes hunting. We love spending time with our family during the holidays!

If you didn't notice, Kagen is with Zach in the pictures. He is a Daddy's boy now. He doesn't want anyone but Daddy if Zach is in the room. Mommy is fine to wave at or give a hug to, but Daddy is the only one he wants to be with. Poor Mommy. :(

Zach and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary on Thursday. Kagen fell asleep in his high chair while we were cooking dinner.

"Happy Anniversary, Mommy and Daddy! You can eat your dinner in peace!"
