Christmas with Zach's Family

Wow! We just had two weeks off from work, but you'd never know it. We have been going non-stop. We had fun spending time with family and visiting friends and most of all spending time with Kagen. However, now we need a vacation from our vacation, but it is back to work we go. Today we went back to work and Kagen went back to daycare. They said Kagen cried from the time Zach dropped him off until lunch, but then he was back to his old self after naptime. Poor little guy. He got spoiled being home with Mommy and Daddy. Anyway, I'm going to try to update the blog with probably about 3 posts to get all caught up from the Christmas break since we had several Christmas's, a birthday party, and a trip to Houston for a wedding all during the break.

For starters, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at Zach's mom's house in Hale Center with his family. It was so much fun! It was Kagen's first Christmas to be old enough to open gifts and it was also baby Payten's first Christmas, so the living room was overflowing with presents. Santa came and brought Kagen Elmo Live. He isn't quite sure what to think about Elmo just yet. He laughs at him, but he doesn't understand him. He also got many other toys, DVDs, and clothes. Basically, we ate, ate, ate, and opened TONS of gifts.

Zach and I were also spoiled with gifts while in Hale Center. Thank you Bobby and Tammie for a wonderful Christmas!
