4th of July at PK

Every year for the 4th of July, we go to Possum Kingdom Lake with my mom's family and stay with my Uncle Brent and have a blast. In the beginning, we would stay in cabins or drive to Graham and stay in a hotel. Then, Brent bought a trailer house at the lake and we thought we were in heaven. It wasn't on the water, but it was close enough to drive a golf cart to and he had a boat slip to keep the boat in on the water. That worked great for about 4 years. Well, this spring he sold the trailer house and he and his wife, Marie, bought a lake house on the water. It is NICE. They hope to someday retire there, but for now, it is a weekend retreat and we are so blessed to be able to stay with them. Zach, Kagen, and I stayed 3 nights and everyone else stayed 1-2 nights. My cousins, Blaine and Jared, brought my grandfather home from the nursing home in Big Spring, so he got to come to the lake with us. It was the most time we have all spent together in a long time. We had so much fun! We tubed, swam, road the jet skiis, road the paddleboat, fed the geese, saw the deer, ate a lot, fished, and popped fireworks on the 3rd and 4th.

Thank you so much, Brent and Marie for having us all!

Hey, why didn't I get some watermelon?? I know you all knew I would eat the whole thing so you waited until I left. HA! Thanks Brent and Marie for a great family time of creating memories.
