On Wednesday, July 1st, the TCR kicked off in Stamford. We took Kagen to the parade that afternoon where my dad and grandparents met us. Then, we went and cooled off for a while at my parents house and took a look at my dad's new tractor. Kagen rode on it with my dad, then with Zach because we couldn't get him off of it. It has a seat just for him with a seat belt and all. Then, my grandparents treated us to a chuckwagon dinner out at the rodeo grounds. Yum! And, finally, my parents took us to the rodeo. It was Kagen's first rodeo. My mom managed to get us good seats. We shared a box with the Stenholm's, so Kagen met his first politician as well. Kagen LOVED the rodeo. He took in every bit of it. It didn't start until 8, which is what time he usually goes to bed, but he stayed awake the whole time and didn't cry or act up once. He was the best looking cowboy there as well. My grandmother had him decked out in boots, jeans, a hat, belt, and the cutest shirt. We had so much fun!

Aww..Kagen is the most handsome cowboy ever. What a cutie.
If grandfather was a little younger Kagen would have fun riding in the grand entry like you did Kristi. I have never seen a little one so totally taken in by a rodeo. He was so interested and so fun to watch.
