The Zoo

On July 7th, we took Kagen to the Abilene Zoo. It was his first trip to a zoo. He loved it even though it was almost 100 degrees. It is a small zoo thank goodness, or we might not have made it. His favorite animal was the meerkat because it played peek-a-boo with him. He laughed and laughed. I have a video of it, but it doesn't do it justice. We bought him a stuffed animal meerkat who is now named Mike. He is one of his 3 little favorite pets that he carries around and sleeps with.
