Dying Easter Eggs with Daddy and Nana
"Look at what I did!"
All of the little ones at the reunion waiting to go out and hunt eggs
Daddy helping him find one behind a brick
Finding one on his own next to the wall
Perched up in the tree with all of his eggs
The eggs Kagen found
After the reunion Saturday, we packed back up and headed back home, so we could be here for Easter Sunday. We ordered pizza and watched Marley & Me Saturday night and boy did I cry. I had already been told that that movie was sad, so I knew that the dog would probably die, but wow. The movie was actually really funny up until the end. All I could think about was Kagen and Taylor and how awful it will be when we lose Taylor. Kagen doesn't know what life is like without her. They are best buddies.
Anyway, back to Easter. Sunday, we went to church together, then headed to Lockney for lunch and egg hunting with Zach's family at his Aunt Donna's house.
The Easter Bunny left Kagen's Easter basket full of goodies sitting in his Kangaroo climber Sunday morning. He found it when he went to eat breakfast.
Unpacking the basket
He does not like how the grass feels.
Eating lunch at Great Aunt Donna's house in Lockney. She had this cute little table set up for the little kids, but only Sydni and Taryn were successful at sitting there for the entire meal.
Hunting for the 3rd time
Kagen, Sydni, Payten, and Taryn with all of their eggs. New baby Rhealee is in the background. She turned one month old that day, still a little young for egg hunting.
Kagen, Payten, Taryn, and Sydni lounging on the swing. They had gone back outside to eat bunny cake (which explains why Kagen is shirtless) and none of them liked it because it was covered in coconut, so they all found the swing instead. They were all pretty tired by this point.
I had all of these cute little shorts and sandles for Kagen to wear over the weekend and of course it was too cold, so he is in pants and jackets in most pictures. Oh well, at least he had fun! Thank goodness we have tomorrow off work to rest a little!
