End of Summer Pics

Each Thursday this summer, Kagen and I went up to the City Library in Anson for "Tot Time". Kagen would pay attention to about 1 story and then do some puzzles. He really liked to run around the library with Hunter (a little boy who is 1 day younger than Kagen). After leaving the library, we would all go to lunch at DQ or Pizza Hut or somewhere nearby. Here are a few pictures from the last Thursday before I went back to work.

Kagen has been able to get a lot of quality time in with Nana since we moved down here. He and Nana have made 2 trips to the Stamford City Park.

"Nana, here I come."

Kagen is now 21 months old and has changed SO much over the summer. He is talking so much now. He learns new things every day, despite the fact that he goes to day care. We all work with him on counting, reading stories, naming things and people, and colors. He is pretty good at counting. He will say "1, 2" on his own, but he knows what order the numbers go in from 1-10. If you start counting and say "6", he'll say "7". It amazes me.

We are STILL waiting to close on our house in Floydada. We were supposed to close on it August 25th, but it still hasn't happened. We'll see if it works out next week.

Now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Cheryl and Matt's baby boy. Cheryl is being induced this coming Monday, September 21! We can't wait to meet him!
