We spent the rest of the day in Lubbock with Zach's parents, Zane, Cammy, Payten and Kagen shopping for shoes and other stuff that we have a hard time finding in Abilene.
The following weekend it rained the whole time, so we bought Kagen some rain boots and boy did he enjoy that.
This weekend we took Kagen to the fair in Abilene. We didn't ride any rides because he (luckily) was sleeping by the time we strolled through that part of the fair, and it was SO expensive. You can go to Six Flags for the price of riding a few rides at the fair. Anyway, he is too young to really care this year anyway. We just wanted to take him to see the animals and eat the food. We tried some chicken fried bacon (for Grandpa), sweet tea for me, and Zach had his usual funnel cake. We got to see a few Floydada folks there in the show barn, so that was fun! Kagen had the most fun playing with a tractor display and feeding the animals in the petting zoo.
